The first thing you need to know is how the two technologies are different. A plasma TV uses two gases (neon and xenon) which is trapped between two layers of glass. The gases are manipulated to show the images on the screen.

Buying a television before the LCD and plasma TVs were out in the market was a simple task that does not require much effort. You only need to allocate the space and know the screen size you want. Now, these modern day televisions come out and confuse us all. We are at the crossroads not knowing which one to take because they all seem too good to be true. Now we have questions to ask ourselves whether we want a full 1080 pixel television or not? Between a plasma TV and an LCD TV, which one is really the better one?
